Trans-Border Global Freight Systems, Inc. is an International and Domestic Freight Forwarder and licensed U.S. Customs Broker. Our objective is to exceed our customer’s logistics needs with services unmatched by our competition in the global transportation industry. We provide efficient and cost-effective solutions that minimize distractions and increase profitability.

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Account Executive to generate, build and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients. This position will work remotely in Western NY, with approximately 40% of time dedicated to travel.

The Account Executive will be responsible for representing Trans-Border and developing a client base in their territory with minimal corporate oversight. Our ideal candidate will have proven success in freight forwarding sales, including an existing book of business. Compensation is negotiable based upon candidate’s experience.


  • Sell Trans-Border’s suite of logistics and transportation services to manufacturing or distribution companies in specified territory (Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo markets). Services include import, export, and domestic logistics solutions, including international air and ocean freight services.
  • Maintain and grow existing book of business
  • Prospect new leads using a variety of methods, including email, phone, and face-to-face visits, and convert them into customers
  • Service and maintain existing clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Update CRM system with sales activity on a weekly basis


  • 3+ years’ experience in sales for freight forwarding or logistics (including international freight services)
  • Proven track record and existing book of business
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Must be a self-starter as this position will receive minimal supervision
  • Computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000/year base salary, based upon experience, plus commission
  • Car payment and gas reimbursement for business miles traveled
