Senior Manager, Talent Business Advisor

Talent Business Advisors ("TBA") focus on shaping the way Talent services are delivered to the Business by working in partnership with key business decision makers and establishing and maintaining a deep understanding of the business environment, strategy, and people implications. Our TBA's partner with leadership to address operational, talent, and talent lifecycle-related issues, including change management, organizational development, culture, employee relations, workforce planning, compensation planning, talent growth, development, and coaching. TBA's proactively translate the practice business strategies into talent solutions that best enable the business to meet its strategic objectives.

Work you'll do

Talent Business Advisors are responsible for partnering with business leaders to execute and drive the delivery of the Talent strategy.
  • Provides strategic and consultative Talent services to business leaders while managing the overall delivery of Talent services from Talent Business and Deployment Advisors.
  • Acts as advisor to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and achieving results through people.
  • Helps to develop and retain critical talent and will build a reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders.
  • Uses data analytics and reporting to advise and guide senior leaders for effective and insightful decision-making. Distills complex information into key insights, clear recommendations, and action plans.
  • Leads challenging conversations and interactions.
  • Manages a team of Talent Business Advisors and one Business Analyst.
  • Coaches and develops professionals at all levels of the organization.

The team

The Talent Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated Talent services to support Business strategies and priorities.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree, 12+ years of Human Resource Management or related experience
  • Demonstrated skill to influence, articulate, and implement the business and Talent strategy; thought leadership (includes innovation/creativity, leveraging best practices and outside eminence); Operational excellence (includes ROI, budgeting/operations, metrics, etc.); Project management (includes crisis and change management activities); Consulting skills (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis / synthesis of information, negotiation, etc.)
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills
    • Experience using Tableau preferred
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:
  • Professional certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred
