The Position: The Sr. Account Specialist position will assist the Sales Teams with achieving their order objectives by providing pre-sales and post-sales support. The Sr. Account Specialist is an integral part of the Customer Operations team and is responsible for supporting cross functional teams in quote management, renewing customers and managing the PO-to-cash process. This position works collaboratively with the Sales and internal organizations such as Finance, Customer Success, Support and Sales Operations to ensure customer orders are executed with velocity and accuracy.

How you will make an impact:

  • Customer Order Management including processing customer purchase orders and support renewals in SFDC (Salesforce.Com CRM tool) /ERP systems, verifying pricing against quotes and/or contracts, ensuring export compliance and denied party checks are completed. Responsibilities include:

    • Processing in a timely and accurate manner

    • Manage the order flow from receipt of PO including closing the opportunity to order fulfillment to billing.

    • Provide Order acknowledgement and confirmation to Customers and Sales

    • Validation/integrity check of order (internal/external customers),

    • Follow up on any order discrepancies ensuring amendments or corrections to orders are actioned

    • Working with Customer Success to ensure that reviews and licenses are completed timely

  • Assist Sales Team with deal reviews, maintenance renewals, quoting and approvals ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies.

  • Drive process improvements and establish new or improved processes

  • Create and manage customer support contracts ensuring that SFDC/ ERP systems reflect valid contracts and items are included on maintenance schedules, renewed and billed as required

  • Assist the Sales team with addressing customer questions and resolving or escalating customer issues; provide timely and accurate responses to customers inquires as appropriate


Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience using or other ERP system

  • Experience using Oracle or other ERP system

  • Ability to work independently and escalate as appropriate

  • 2+ years of proven success in Enterprise/B2B Industry, Deal Desk, Finance or Sales Operations experience preferred

  • Highly organized, detailed oriented, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details

  • Excellent communicator, transparent, collegial, and open to feedback

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
