Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. If you excel at delivering exceptional service and are ready to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
MUST HAVE PRIOR INSURANCE EXPERIENCE OF 3-5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and visitors in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls efficiently within two rings, offering assistance before redirecting to the appropriate person or voicemail.
- Address client inquiries and return calls promptly.
- Compose professional written correspondence for clients, following company standards.
- Promote, sell, and provide service for all types of personal lines insurance to both new and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to enhance business through cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
- Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal policies in line with company guidelines.
- Handle new business, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations promptly and accurately.
- Reach out to clients about policy renewals and provide re-market options when needed to ensure client retention.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date client records in Epic, ensuring all communication and documentation are current.
- Manage and follow up on outstanding underwriting items and client requests.
- Ensure timely payments, maintaining zero outstanding accounts receivable for both direct and agency bill policies.
- Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated on insurance products.
- Build strong working relationships with external partners, including underwriters, ICBC, the Insurance Council, and the Brokers’ Association.
- Assist with all aspects of auto insurance processing, including renewals, transfers, permits, cancellations, new plate transactions, and commercial fleets.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Skills and Education:
- Level 2 General Insurance License (or currently pursuing it).
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
- Solid understanding of personal insurance practices and policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A team player who is eager to learn and contribute.
- Comfortable using web-based systems and programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
** Ideally open to working at least 2 Satruday’s a month
