Who are we looking for

We are looking for a Release Engineer, you will be part of the release engineering practice across several application teams. This broader team of release engineers serves our direct to consumer and enterprise business. You will be a member of an engineering team responsible for global software release to our retail stores,learning DevOps, learning and working towards best practice. We work in a fast moving, constantly changing environment and need people who are able to provide flexible, reliable, self-service, easy-to-understand release automation to our teams.

What will you work on

Learn, implement automation, and operate tools to allow for efficient and reliable releases

Work in close collaboration with the global release team

Work with engineering teams to design sustainable deployment, packaging, and automation

Troubleshoot deployment and application issues

Support CI/CD and source control systems

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

In true Nike fashion, you will partner closely with engineering teams, technology partners, and leaders across the engineering community to continually improve process, achieve efficiencies, and deliver quality product on schedule.

What you bring to nike

0-4 years professional experience with 1+ year in build and release engineering preferred

CS Degree, Code Bootcamp, or self-taught welcomeStrong desire to learn and contribute with the ability to collaborate with a global team

Track record of learning and growth, concept to implementationSolid understanding of configuration management and release engineering practice Experience DevOps and managing CI/CD is a plus

Experience with the following or similar technologies: Python, Ansible, Jenkins,

Docker, Linux, MacOS, Splunk/NewRelic/Kibana Experience with automation, orchestration, and continuous integration toolsTop-notch communication and documentation skills
