We are doing that by building off our best-in-class surgical ultrasonic technology to change patient outcomes in Spine, Neuro, and Wound Care.
Responsible for the clinical support of the Misonix Ultrasonic portfolio in a designated region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Achieve assigned quota on a monthly and quarterly basis at 100% or higher.
  • Manage accounts in the assigned territory
  • Drive regional sales in existing accounts and penetrate targeted accounts.
  • Help coordinate and conduct in-services for Surgeons, O.R. staff, and Sterile Processing prior to evaluations.
  • Provide onsite clinical support to accounts during the evaluation process.
  • Work closely with Regional Managers and Distributors to implement our model for strategic sales.
  • Assist with Misonix labs, trade shows, training, and convention activities.
  • Successful completion of all required product and sales-related training curriculum
  • Complete special projects assigned by upper management.
Work Environment
  • This job will spend time in the hospital OR, Surgery Centers, Physician Offices, and operating rooms
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to transport equipment weighing up to 40lbs
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile
  • Required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate with peers and co-workers
  • Regularly required to communicate with and understand others
  • Occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms
  • Regularly required to stand; walk and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job involve normal vision
  • Ability to travel
Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time, salaried position. Some evenings & weekends may be required
  • Ability to travel extensively (75%). Must be able to travel by air and car, and work weekends as required
Required Education
  • An undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) is required
Job Requirements
  • A successful track record of nursing, surgical tech, paramedic background, or B2B sales
  • Prior medical sales is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
  • A valid driver’s license in one of the 50 United States is required
  • Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skill including proper phone etiquette
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Highly detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Maintains an attitude of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
  • Strong sense of decision making, sound judgment, and critical thinking
  • Motivated and able to work independently within a fast-paced, team environment
