ASSOCIATE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
DESCRIPTION:
Supports the Clinical Sales Specialist in the coverage and set up of Misonix cases in a designated area through knowledge of our equipment, geography and facility intricacies. Undergraduate in either a technical field or Marketing required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cover Cases when needed
  • Run Equipment/Disposables, when needed, from account to account or to reps
  • Cover/Assist with in-services when needed
  • Cover/Assist with Meetings when needed
  • Cover/Assist with Demo's when needed
  • Shadow Reps when schedule permits as part of ongoing education
  • Assist in Coverage of Local Meetings
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This job will spend time in hospital operating rooms, surgery centers, and physician offices
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to transport equipment weighing up to 40lbs
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
  • This is a full-time, salaried position. Some evenings & weekends may be required
TRAVEL:
  • Ability to travel extensively (75%). Must be able to travel by air and car, and work weekends as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • An undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) is required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A successful track record of nursing, surgical tech, paramedic background, or B2B sales
  • Medical sales experience is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
  • A valid driver’s license in one of the 50 United States is required
  • Exceptional customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills including proper phone etiquette
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Highly detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Maintains an attitude of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
  • Strong sense of decision making, sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Motivated and able to work independently within a fast-paced, team environment
