Job Description
Sales Engineer / National Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager required to join a global manufacturer of fluid handling equipment.The successful Outside Sales Engineer / National Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for new business development and key account management with major customers across the Mid-West for various fluid power products and systems including industrial, pumps, valves and heat exchangers, specialising in industries such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic, Light Chemical industries.
The ideal National Sales Engineer / National Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will ideally have end-user sales experience within pumps, valves, heat exchangers or similar fluid power products.
Package
$75,000 - $95,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Bonus scheme.

Sales Engineer / National Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager Role:
- Grow business across all market segments by regularly engaging with assigned customers.
- Maintain active communication and relationships with in-house personnel and buying influences.
- Representing fluid power products and systems including industrial, pumps, valves and heat exchangers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to expand territory interactions.
- Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.
- Manage territory/customer forecasts, budgets, and cost controls using company-approved systems.
- Partner with customers to understand project specifications and ensure proposals meet requirements.
- Recommend adjustments to sales strategies/tactics based on evaluations.
- Negotiate orders, including technical, commercial, and legal details.
- Travel to customer locations regularly to maintain face-to-face contact.
- Entertain customers both during and outside of business hours.
- Cover the Mid-West including TX, NM, CO, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, KS, MO, OK, AR, LA
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Must reside in the Midwest such as Cover the Mid-West including TX, NM, CO, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, KS, MO, OK, AR, LA, reporting to a site in Texas.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and solutions professionally.
- Experience managing a sales territory and developing/executing business plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience within technical sales relevant to Pumps Valves & Heat Exchangers or industry knowledge of Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic, Light Chemical industries with a technical sales background.
