Our Sales team is growing! As the Sales Development Representative, you would focus on developing and executing a plan to find prospective customers, map our solution to their needs, build rapport and create a sense of excitement and urgency with the prospect to acquire our solution. This is a high velocity, transactional process to target accounts, qualify buyers, deliver web-based product demonstrations and manage a pipeline of prospective clients. Success in this position would be based on your ability to be creative in your sales engagement style, strategic in your qualification process and focus on closing. This is a high visibility role with a large degree of responsibility and requires regular communication and documentation of your activities.



  • Identify buying personas at target enterprise clients and market verticals
  • Build mindshare for Tugboat Logic products through outbound telephone and email prospecting within a given geography or industry verticals
  • Schedule product demo calls between prospects and sales reps or performs demonstrations yourself
  • Convert prospects into sales by creating decision urgency and differentiating from the competition
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the SDR Team Lead



  • 1+ years of successful lead generation and/or sales experience
  • Prior experience selling SaaS or enterprise tools a plus
  • A self-motivated, results oriented contributor that can work independently or in a team environment
  • Enjoys prospecting and is comfortable cold-calling and qualifying potential clients
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets or goals using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Superior communication (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills with the ability actively listen and provide sound solutions
  • Working knowledge of sales automation tools like CRM, SDR tools
  • Able to clearly and effectively articulate Tugboat Logic’s value via conference call or in-person meetings
  • You possess a curious mind, demonstrated "coachability" and a desire to learn
