Position Overview:
The Technical Outside Sales Representative will be instrumental in expanding LGS Technologies' presence in the market. This individual will manage a designated sales territory, building strategic customer relationships to drive significant sales growth. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively communicate product solutions and new offerings in various settings, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, tradeshows, and related events. The ideal candidate will develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts, advising clients on customized application solutions while achieving aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing key opportunities in assigned accounts. Develop actionable plans to meet targets, prepare sales forecasts, and generate progress reports.
- Customer Communication: Effectively communicate LGS Technologies’ capabilities and offerings to customers during face-to-face meetings, calls, and events such as tradeshows.
- Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with material suppliers to leverage their expertise, enhancing customer satisfaction and providing optimal solutions.
- Sales Planning: Contribute to LGS planning activities by building opportunity funnels, maintaining weekly call reports, and following up on quotes.
- Market Analysis: Track competitive activities within the territory and provide feedback on industry trends and LGS’ position within the market.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent experience in technical sales or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, persuasive, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage client relationships without direct supervision.
- Extensive daily travel within the sales territory, with occasional overnight travel (10-20%).

Preferred:
- Proven experience selling custom fabricated products to key industry accounts.
- Confidence in representing LGS Technologies' value proposition in various customer interactions, from meetings to tradeshows.
