We are seeking a Veteran Affairs Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for veterans seeking assistance with their VA ratings. Your primary responsibility will be to build trust, educate veterans on our services, and guide them through the enrollment process to maximize their benefits. This position is ideal for a driven, empathetic individual with a passion for helping veterans. Our hours are 5am to 8pm Monday - Saturday . We are seeking full time candidates to work in our Oceanside office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Establish strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, offering solutions, and providing excellent customer service. Regularly check in with existing customers to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Present Product/Service Solutions: Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products/services, tailoring presentations to meet customer needs. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Track personal performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
- Manage the Sales Cycle: Take ownership of the entire sales process from initial contact through negotiation and closing the sale, ensuring smooth transactions and positive customer experiences.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team: Work closely with fellow sales team members and managers to share insights, overcome challenges, and support team success. Shadow team members, participate in team meetings, and contribute to overall sales strategies.
- Maintain CRM Data: Diligently update the CRM system with all client interactions, track progress, and document sales activities to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline management.
- Stay Informed on Market Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify new sales opportunities and refine your sales pitch.
- Participate in Sales Training: Attend ongoing sales training and development programs to sharpen skills, learn new techniques, and stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is required; experience working with veterans or in a related field is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Empathy and Understanding: A genuine understanding of the challenges veterans face and a passion for helping them.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and stay organized in a remote work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and basic office software is a plus.
