The Team

As a Sales Development Representative on the Auto Retail team at Upstart, you'll be responsible for driving revenue by prospecting and building pipeline while building strong consultative relationships with large automotive dealership groups, channel partners, and/or OEMs. We're looking for an energetic, committed, over-achiever who wants to get their foot in the door at a fast company.

We're looking for go-get it closers who blow through objections and recite sales scripts in their sleep while dreaming of closing landmark deals. If you come with a competitive, adaptable, and hungry spirit, we can teach you the rest!

Position Location - This role is available in Austin, TX

Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the Central time zone.

How you’ll make an impact:
Outbound prospecting (80-100 calls per day)
Work closely with Account Executives to develop successful prospecting strategies
Maintain flawless data management and hygiene within Salesforce
Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
Create new processes and refine existing processes through innovative thinking
Identifying key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget and timeline

What we’re looking for:
up to 2 years of sales experience
Strong communication, analytical, and listening skills, with a positive and energetic phone presence
Willingness to roll up their sleeves and dig in to help drive our business forward
Detail oriented and tech savvy
Bachelor's degree a plus
Automotive experience a plus
