Position Overview
Region Coverage Texas to Southern California

The responsibility of the Interconnect Business Development Manager will be to liaise between the Sales and Marketing functions of the Company and will bring a focus to the Interconnect commodity. Reporting to the VP of Sales/Interconnect with a dotted line to the Regional VP's; the IBDMs are responsible for increased Interconnect sales at the customer level. The IBDMs will be accountable for opportunity qualification, design in and training for all Interconnect and selective electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for Interconnect Products

  • Manage Future/Supplier direct sales relationships

  • Develop target account lists

  • Work with local SE's on penetrating target accounts

  • Define Interconnect TAM

  • Define, qualify and document interconnect opportunities at target accounts

  • Identify and track customer projects and programs

  • Work with Marketing to ensure quoting process is lean

  • Work with Asset Management to ensure inventory is in place to support customer programs
  • Drive Future's value Proposition

  • Expand Future's customer base by finding new accounts

  • Work with AE's to leverage Semiconductor design registrations into connector design wins

  • Co manage margins to meet targets

  • Train all Marketing and Field sales on interconnect products


  • Qualifications and Experience

  • Engineering degree or Business Degree with Interconnect experience

  • 5 years of Interconnect sales experience

  • Additional experience in the Interconnect industry is a plus

  • Must have technical capability and understand Interconnect design and manufacturing

  • Sales Management experience a plus

  • Wiliness to travel
