Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a critical link between our technical team and clients, ensuring that our products meet customer needs while driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Duties
- Write tech proposals (home automation, home theater, media room, boardrooms). You have to know D-Tolls or other software to create proposals
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
- Engage in pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise to support the sales process (Home Theater, Home Automation, Boardroom, Wiring).
- Analyze customer needs and provide recommendations for product enhancements or new solutions (Crestron, Control 4 and others).
- Do site-survay to understand what clients need; provide recomendations to clients about the tech aspect of a project.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to foster trust and ensure ongoing business opportunities.
Skills
- Proficiency in AV sphere. Exprerience in tech is a must.
- Experience in technical sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with pre-sales processes, including requirements gathering and solution design.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Solid understanding of Crestron and Control 4 technologies.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
