Job Description

Stella Insurance is seeking motivated health insurance agents to join our organization. This is a full-time position that will work proactively to drive sales and services to new and existing clients by providing innovative solutions to each client’s unique insurance needs. We are looking for experienced and new agents to the field. Our clients typically need assistance understanding their healthcare options and enrolling in the plan that best fits their needs. Stella Insurance is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with sales teams around the country and agents working remotely.


  • Attend ongoing trainings to be knowledgeable about all products and services.
  • Identify prospective clients through personal and professional networks, community centers of influence, business development or lead acquisitions.
  • Contact new and existing clients to provide exceptional customer service and member retention.
  • Provide policy details to our enrollment department within 24 hours.
  • Contact assigned leads immediately and update sales manager with outcomes within the same work day.
  • Provide weekly updates, including lead generation and sales outcomes for any sales initiatives assigned.
  • Prospect and nurture business to business relationships that can drive sales.
  • Follow all company compliance and marketing guidelines.


  • Role that interacts directly with clients
  • Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline data and measure performance standards to ensure achievement of sales goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in sales role working closely with the public
  • Coachable and competitive entrepreneurial spirit; high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated facilitation, negotiation, and persuasion skills - well organized, ability to multi-task.
  • Bi-Lingual (Not mandatory, but a plus).

  • Weekly meetings with supervisor(s) to monitor progress
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team remotely and attend weekly Zoom and team meetings.

Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
