Job Description

Pacific Spice Company is seeking a top ranked Sales Professional with 3-5 YEARS Experience in the CPG, FOODSERVICE (RESTAUARNTS & DISTRIBUTORS) OR FOOD INGREDIENTS CHANNELS. Proven track record, able to generate leads and increase sales with existing & new accounts.


Major Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound calls, web inquiries, trade show leads, prospect lists, referrals, and independent research
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Build pipeline, and drive sales process from inquiry to close
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and goals, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships and loyalty
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, new account closings, follow-up, and adherence/achievement to performance goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales
  • Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years headquarters experience in the B2B CPG, FOODSERIVCE (RESTAURANTS & DISTRIBUTORS) OR FOOD INGREDIENTS
  • Strong work ethic- self starter
  • Positive attitude, adaptable and flexible
  • Strong people skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication & negotiating skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook & CRM software.
  • Daily/ weekly travel to appointment as necessary
  • Trade show attendance 2-3 times per year.
  • Office based in Commerce, CA
