Job Description
Glo’s Inside Sales Consultants drive sales growth across the country from our Denver, Colorado corporate office. Our Inside Sales Consultants are part of a cohesive sales team managing a sales territory, partnering with Territory Managers who sell prospects in the field, and Educators who support accounts with product and protocol training. This role involves developing great relationships with customers, actively growing account sales, and working productively as part of the sales team.
Essential duties of the Inside Sales Consultant:
- Actively maintain existing client accounts: manage and grow existing accounts; create sales forecasts and territory analysis; conduct regular business meetings via phone/video with active accounts; meet outbound call metrics, reach and frequency metrics, and other call cycle requirements; collaborate with clients to create actionable business plans resulting in revenue generation for them and Glo; provide excellent customer service via email and phone to address account needs; maintain detailed sales notes in SAND; ensure thorough communication for business continuity for open territories; work with Territory Managers and Area Sales Managers to ensure territory needs are met.
- Drive growth by adding new accounts: profile prospects throughout territories; develop a robust pipeline of leads; educate and market to prospects on Glo’s products; and convert leads into customers through follow-up calls, strong persuasion and communication skills, and a collaborative, consultative approach; nurture, and grow prospects; influence and support wholesale promotions.
- Support sales growth in other areas: assist on other sales-related projects as needed; help with Customer Service call overflow as needed; demonstrate excellent phone and e-mail communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Positively represent the Glo Skin Beauty brand: execute job duties with a friendly demeanor and cooperative attitude; share your passion for our skin and beauty products with enthusiasm; ensure a strong working knowledge of our full product portfolio; demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to manager coaching and customer feedback; communicate clearly and respond to customers in a timely and professional manner both via phone and e-mail.
Other duties:
- Assist where needed with miscellaneous sales, customer service, or administrative duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in the beauty industry is strongly preferred, licensed esthetician preferred
- Demonstrated success in a sales role using a consultative, needs-based selling approach preferred
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (inside or outside) preferred
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to independently manage work to expectations and self-direct sales call cycles with a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated adeptness in social and business settings, maintaining poise and professionalism under stressful situations
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products and a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Working Conditions:
- Sitting for long periods at a time at a desk using a computer and telephone
- Physical activities include handling products, carrying boxes or files, listening and speaking with customers
- Availability for potential overtime hours
Hybrid, full-time role with a standard 40 hour workweek
