The Business Development Manager – Benefit Consulting is responsible for meeting assigned sales goals. Prospects for new clients by utilizing their existing network, centers of influence and other means to generate new leads & business by soliciting, quoting and placement of new Employee Benefit coverages with professionalism, integrity and compliance with agency’s policies and procedures. Responsible for making introductions and identifying cross-selling opportunities to Personal Lines and Property & Casualty – House. Meets service and sales standards with timeliness quality and in accordance to state and federal compliance requirements and Agency policies and guidelines.
College degree highly desired. Proven sales experience to include Employee Benefit program experience required. Combination of education and job-related experience equivalent will be considered.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Life and Health Insurance License required or must obtain within 90 days from date of hire. Must complete Continuous Education (CE) as required. Must complete Sales Development Program Training (on-line training, coaching calls, webinars, etc.) within a specified time period. Valid Hawaii Driver’s license and use of own vehicle required.
