Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong long-term relationships with key accounts in multiple channels to achieve overall business goals. Supporting the Sales team.

Schedule & Location: This position works a Hybrid Flexible schedule working three days at the Irvine location: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; and working remote Wednesdays and Fridays. Normal business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00pm Mon – Thurs and 8:00am – 3:00pm on Fridays.

Please note: The remote work privilege may be cancelled at the discretion of the company at any time with reasonable notice of not less than 15 days.

Eligible to WFH: Yes, 2 days

Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and maintaining strong long-term relationships with key accounts in multiple channels to achieve overall business goals. Supporting the Sales team.

Team Structure:

Reports Directly to the Sr. Director of Sales. Cross Functional responsibilities with Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and Operations departments to support external customer needs.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain long-term relationships with current key customers
  • This includes, Check in meetings in-person and virtually.
  • Supporting Sr. Director of Sales in achieving account revenue goals
  • This includes, Managing and Analyzing POS Sales & NPD Data for sales trends and opportunities. Joining internal customer related meetings with Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and Operations departments.
  • Serve as liaison between account and internal teams to address specific needs
  • This includes, Utilizing appropriate internal forms and platforms for requests and overall customer communication
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to increase sales growth
  • This includes, Market & Competitor research, Store Audits and internal collaborations with our Product Development Teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure program execution
  • This includes, onboarding new programs via existing customer portals and using internal forms to initiate purchase orders.
  • Support and/or conduct internal and external sales meetings
  • This includes, Business meeting recaps, internal business strategies and account updates and external collaborations with key customers.

· Travel: Attend customer meetings, presentations and business-related events as necessary.

· Any other task or duty as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field a plus.
  • 5+ years account management experience in the Office Products, Wholesale and/or Mass Market Industries.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills along with strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Related products, emphasis in Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm; low level of tolerance for "status quo".
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes on occasion.
  • Must have strong computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
