Instinct Marketing provides local business clients with inbound online marketing strategies to generate leads. This includes search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, website design & development, and more digital marketing services to improve the success of our clients' marketing efforts. IMPORTANT NOTE: Job applicants must currently live in or near Greater Sacramento, California. We are not interested in out-of-state or remote applicants.
Role Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and execute day-to-day client tasks for digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, Paid Search, Email Marketing, Reputation Management, Social Media, and more.
- Develop comprehensive marketing reports covering keyword and map rankings, conversion tracking, paid advertising performance, and other relevant metrics.
- Continuously monitor and analyze digital marketing campaigns to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and recommend upsell opportunities to the Sales department.
- Engage with clients through email, text messages, calls, and/or meetings (both in-person and virtual) to ensure clear communication and satisfaction.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, addressing their needs and providing updates on campaign progress via email, video recordings/meetings, and/or in-person.
- Craft compelling case studies for use in presentations and on the agency's website.
- Encourage and manage client reviews to bolster the agency’s online reputation.
- Support the Sales department with various tasks, contributing to overall business growth.
- Collaborate with team members on diverse campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Answer phones and manage messages in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Uphold a professional and friendly online reputation for the agency.
- Report directly to the Marketing Director and Head of Growth on all relevant tasks and initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications (1+ years of experience in an agency setting is preferred).
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Familiar with HighLevel CRM (preferred), Hubspot, Keap, or Salesforce.
- Familiar with Clickup (preferred) or similar project management software (i.e. Asana, Monday, Notion, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- A collaborative team player who is energetic, positive, results-oriented, and adaptable.
- A genuine passion for digital marketing and a drive to stay current with industry trends.

Instinct Marketing is a digital marketing agency based in Sacramento, California. Our team mainly consists of SEO & PPC managers, specialists, SEO content writers, UX/UI designers, and web & software developers.
