Allied Veterinary Laboratories (AVL) is a leading provider of veterinary diagnostic laboratory services to independent veterinary practices across the United States. The ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

· Bachelor's degree in science

· 5+ years veterinary hospital experience; DVM or CVT credential a plus

· Comprehensive understanding of pharmacology, hematology, histology, etc.

· 5+ years outside sales experience for a veterinary-related company

· 5+ years B2B experience

· Ability to travel 60%

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical and computer skills

· Advanced time management, problem-solving and organizational abilities

· Self-motivated, accountable and team-oriented

· Clean driving record and background history

Here’s what you’ll do:

· Identify opportunities and strategies to develop new business

· Meticulously plan/organize meetings, schedules and timelines

· Leverage experience to better understand customer needs and increase conversions

· Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, highly-professional manner

· Partner with internal and external stakeholders to increase adoption and usage of AVL

· Develop strong and trusting customer relationships

· Deliver effective presentations during customer meetings that result in conversions

· Attend and participate in trade shows, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required

· Organize group events, dinners and conferences for veterinary professionals

· Complete weekly activity reports, expense reports, and any requested information as required by the Laboratory Director

· Tightly and accurately manage expenses to stay within all budget areas provided by the Laboratory Director

· Maintain meticulous, clear, current and detailed records of all contacts and create reports when needed

· Work across all disciplines within the lab to create unity, harmony and maintain a healthy corporate culture

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour


  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

Responsibilities (What you'll be expected to do): - Generate qualified opportunities for the company by rigorously prospecting and researching in the assigned region/market. - Do rigorous research on companies, and build an effective sales pipeline. - Strike and initiate conversations with high-profile personas of companies you are prospecting. - Be the face of Freshworks and pitch the company and our products to the prospects. - Come up with creative emails and campaigns to draw the attention of prospects. Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
