Salesperson - Golf Courses & Municipalities

We are looking for an outgoing individual with knowledge and experience in the turf and landscape industry. Our business is growing quickly in the golf course & sports field industry, so knowledge of turf, pesticides, fertilizer, and bulk products is preferred. Customer service is our mission, so cultivating and maintaining relationships is paramount. You'll have all the tools to succeed and the opportunities for growth are endless.

Job Offering & Compensation

  • Job type: Full time
  • Pay range: $56,00-70,000 base salary plus commission (Opportunity to make $100,000+ including commission)
  • Flexible work schedule
  • This position will be primarily Monday through Friday
  • Primary territory will be the greater Sacramento and East Bay area's

Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Service existing clients by preparing estimates and following through to fulfillment
  • Effectively demonstrate product line
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience in sales with strong track record of success
  • Willing to waive sales experience for hands on turf knowledge
  • High School diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

Pay: $65,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
