Job Description

Role + Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop strong and trusting relationships at Strategic Account sites to build a strong partnership for expanding business opportunities.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements on a strategic level.
  • Identify and nurture new partners and solutions/opportunities that will assist in positioning the business as a trusted advisor within the account.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies that will increase the overall value of the business in terms of both revenue and profitability.
  • Create a true strategic business partnership with each account location.

Qualification + Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of relevant Industrial Automation experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Strategic Account Management position
  • Demonstrated and proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships and have influence at account location
  • Clear understanding of growth drivers within the specific industry
  • Strong strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Travel required: 50%
