The Women In Tech Scholarship
This scholarship was established in partnership with Garage Capital in recognition of the need to increase gender diversity in the workplace.
The goal of this scholarship is to increase representation of women in software and technology companies to shape a more equitable future for the industry.
- Eligible recipients must self-identify as a woman.
- In order to claim the scholarship you must be accepted as a Premium member in Uvaro's Career Success program.
- Scholarships are non-transferable.
- The scholarship covers full Premium membership. Enroll in any Course at any time (we recommend starting with the foundations though!)
- To be considered for a scholarship, an applicant must have the intention of using the Premium membership for the period of offering.
- This scholarship does not come in the form of cash or cheque.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have not received any Uvaro scholarship previously.
- Selection is based on the strongest match between career development needs and Uvaro’s membership offering.
- To receive the scholarship, first join as a member. Furthermore, all membership and scholarship documents must be completed.

Winning this scholarship means everything to me! I'm so grateful for the support. Sometimes working to get ahead as a single mom can feel like a pretty lonely journey. Having the support of this scholarship and the team behind it fuels my passion to succeed and re-energizes my strong hope for attainment in tech sales. The quality education I am receiving at Uvaro is truly invaluable. And the teachers are incredible! Frankly, I could not effectively make the transition into tech without everything I have been learning. It hasn't been easy but it's totally worth it.
