We are looking for some Journeypersons and Lead Hand Electricians to join our Projects Department, and we have a few openings in the Vancouver Area and/or Fraser Valley. These are permanent, full time positions with the company.

The Positions: Journeypersons and Lead Hand Electricians - Full time - 40 hours a week with the availability of overtime. Service area includes Chilliwack to North Vancouver, with the majority of work completed in the Metro Vancouver area.
- Start and end times vary – but your typical day is an 8 hour shift
Role and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings (architectural, electrical, mechanical, etc.) as well as other related contractual documents
- Review of shop drawings and submittal packages for accuracy
- Participate in forecast meetings and team member reviews
- Conducts high quality work aligned with company expectations while providing quality control on all installations on the project
- Installs, tests, and commissions electrical equipment and systems
- Participates in site-related meetings including site walkthroughs, checklists, and safety meetings
- Manages site equipment and materials, ensuring that they are ordered, received, stored, and used correctly
- Ensures that job sites are clean and organized, and secure
- Maintains accurate as-built drawings, layouts, and other project documentation
- Maintains good relationships with clients, engineers, contractors, and other trade leads
- Collaborate with other trades and field staff on larger projects, providing support where needed
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Certified Inter-Provincial Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- Experience in commercial electrical construction
- Previous experience installing EV DCFC and Level 2 EV Chargers is an asset
- Diverse installation experience (e.g. distribution, lighting control, fire alarm, data etc.)
- Computer skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety
- Leverages expertise to always deliver quality work and pursues opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ethical with a focus on providing the best experience for all stakeholders
- Strong work ethic (punctual, reliable, self-motivated, and ability to work independently)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5)
- Willing to work after hours
- Able to speak, read and write English fluently and able to maintain legible and accurate paperwork
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $42.85-$49.00 per hour
