Job Description
Primary Responsibilities –
Working under the direction and guidance of the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations, the Sales Support Specialist is responsible for:
- Acting as a liaison between the Field Sales team and the Hopkinton Team includes Customer Service, Shipping, Quality and Supply Chain
- Work closely with sales representatives to provide support and ensure successful sales cycles
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems
- Understanding the current distributor and customer needs regarding inventory and product and assisting field and customer service team with order processing and tracking
- Supporting field team and distributors with PO acquisition, tracking and submission
- Supporting all steps of the production of sales proposals, RFPs, presentations, client reports and other internal and external support materials
Education / Experience –
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Basic understanding of sales processes
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Position location: Hopkinton, MA. Ability to work hybrid schedule once fully trained in role.
Salary: $68,000-$71,000/year
