We're seeking a seasoned Logistics Leader with extensive Distribution Operations Experience, passion for logistics excellence and ability to transform the Logistics Network throughout the Canadian logistics territory.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the evolution of our Schneider Electric Canadian Distribution Network and improve Customers Delivery Experience. As Logistics Territory Leader you will become a pivotal voice within Schneider Electric's global supply chain representing Canadian Logistics and our Canadian customers.
The role will partner with our 3PL DC Operations leaders in Canada to optimize distribution flows, processes and animate cross-function teams to deliver an excellent delivery experience and support the growth of the Canadian Market.
The position is based in Mississauga / Milton Ontario, with frequent time spent onsite in 3PL platforms across the Greater Toronto Area. It will reporting to the VP of NAM Logistics with very close connection to the Canadian leadership.
What will you do?
Lead and Inspire:
- Develop, lead and inspire diverse and inclusive team or direct and dotted line reports, championing our IMPACT behaviors and values.
- Partner with Canadian 3PL Operations Leaders to ensure Customer Logistics Offer and Customer Satisfaction & Quality metrics are achieved including on-time delivery, distribution performance (inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, transport, trade and customs compliance)
- Foster collaboration and communication across business teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning.
Optimize and Deliver:
- Drive operational efficiency by analyzing processes, implementing improvements, and maximizing resource utilization across Canada Logistics platforms (DCs, Cross-Docks and Transport).
- Lead capacity planning to ensure the warehouse can meet evolving demands, while meeting quality and timely delivery standards.
- Leverage both SE 3PL standards and best practices including SPS, automation and technology.
Empower and Grow:
- Champion talent development, mentor, coach and expose talent.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning prioritizing digitization, quality and process excellence.
- Build strong local logistics competencies within the team, encouraging innovation and agile problem-solving.
Safety and Compliance:
- 3PL and Domestic Transport Suppliers will be selected based on rigorous adherence to all industry safety protocols, including Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and other governmental regulations.
Sustainability :
- Partner with SE SERE Leaders and 3PL to identify domestic sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with upstream suppliers, transport to reduce the supply chain carbon footprint.
- Partner with customers to adopt green delivery services.
Performance and Results:
- Oversee all inventory and logistics flows between 3PL operations, source suppliers and customers
- Partner with 3PL leader on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strategic action plans.
- Prepare and co-lead regular performance reviews.
- Support transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement within the DC.
- Identify opportunities and support projects to improve and optimize domestic Canadian replenishment to maximize the customer delivery experience and minimize logistics cost to serve.
Global and Local:
- Guarantee adherence to corporate policies and procedures, while adapting for local market conditions and regulations.
- Manage and oversee project and program execution to achieve agreed-upon objectives.

- Distribution Operations, expert in process and best practices including
- S&OP or SiOP (Sales and Inventory Operational Planning)
- Experienced and Effective People Leader
- Continuous improvement and transformation
- Track record of delivery Operation Excellence
- Results Driven, proven success with Logistics and DC Operations
- ERP experience and capabilities WMS/TMS Information Systems (SAP, Manhattan, Q2C)
- Empowered and able to deliver results independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries
- Distribution Center Digital, automation, and Analytic
- Language: English, French (Optional)
- Transportation experience withing the Canadian Market
- Supply Chain Management (with focus on Inventory)
- Projects Management Process (PMP) understanding
Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Proven leadership: Experience spearheading high-performing teams and achieving key site KPIs under your guidance.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preference in Supply Chain or Engineering
- Proven track record of leading and managing a full operation
- Operational savvy: A minimum of 5+ years progressively advancing in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics fields.
- Warehouse experience utilizing digital technologies and innovation
- Leadership & development: Passionate about people management and building a dynamic, engaged team environment.
