Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand our reach, develop strategic partnerships, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the mortgage or financial services industry. A mortgage license is an asset but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with real estate agents, mortgage brokers, financial institutions, and other key industry professionals.
- Drive lead generation and client acquisition strategies to increase revenue.
- Develop and execute business growth plans to expand LendingHub.ca’s market presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client offerings and improve service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
- Provide insights and feedback to leadership to improve sales strategies and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the mortgage, financial services, or real estate industry.
- Strong network of industry professionals, including real estate agents, brokers, and lenders.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive business growth with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including products, regulations, and market trends.
- Mortgage license (preferred but not mandatory).
