GENERAL SUMMARY
This position has the responsibility to perform surveys for upcoming moves (both virtual & in person), sell solutions to customers for both Local & Interstate opportunities, and build a network of referral partners to assist in gaining opportunities. Candidate will be asked to meet the sales and sales margin goals for the organization.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To pursue all facets of moving and storage sales through private client opportunities – to include domestic and
international household goods, and other related business. Prospect, qualify, present, close, and maintain good
working relationship. Act as company representative when meeting customer, public, and business associates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Working with sales management, create an annual business and sales plan with specific goals and objectives to be achieved. The plan should include but not be limited to:
- revenue goals
- approved target markets, accounts, and referral partners
- use of company policies, processes, programs and plans
- Establishing a goal for prospect calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify, qualify, prospect and close national account household goods transportation business and selected other revenue opportunities
- Develop and grow a key prospect list of accounts, management assigned accounts and those added by Sales representative’s choice, to include, but not be limited to those where buying decisions are made in key markets and office locations
- Keep up to date records and progress on strategy in company CRM, following the “selling process” for all key prospects
- Negotiate transportation contracts and agreements with sales management when appropriate, including renewal agreements
- Attend meetings, seminars and trade shows as requested
- Consistently demonstrate a willingness to be part of a sales team, a commitment to continue learning and develop professionally, and a disposition to interact with sales management to improve effectiveness on all parts of the “Selling process”.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This is an office environment with constant interruptions.
There will also be local travel to get to appointments.
