BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

You will be part of the Business Intelligence team, an interdisciplinary group within the Finance team, primarily supporting business partners in the Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Finance departments. Your tasks at a glance
  • You analyze operational and business performance and share insights with the team before making recommendations to stakeholders.
  • You analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
  • You collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
  • You present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • You conduct in-depth financial analyses to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • You ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports and visualizations before sharing them with stakeholders.
  • You contribute to the improvement of BI tools and processes, staying up to date with best practices and new industry technologies.
  • You respond to ad hoc analysis requests and provide training for users on BI tools.


A clear view of your assets
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in statistics, IT, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • You have strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • You have a solid understanding of statistical analysis.
  • You possess strong organizational skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • You are capable of driving business initiatives through in-depth statistical analysis to support and guide strategic decision-making.
  • You can define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives and continuously improve data-driven strategies.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
  • You have knowledge of SQL queries and database management.
  • You are solution-oriented, customer-focused, and quality-driven.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience.
  • You are fluent in French and can also communicate in English, enabling you to interact with unilingual English-speaking colleagues outside Quebec.
