As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you’ll make an impact by playing a key role in optimizing and scaling our cloud infrastructure by automating workflows for efficient, more reliable deployments. You will improve CI/CD pipelines, implement monitoring and testing strategies, and ensure the stability and performance of cloud applications. Your expertise will support the team’s evolving needs, strengthen cloud security, and drive continuous improvement. You will be a valued member of our Infrastructure practice and work collaboratively with our Lead Infra Architect to help craft the future of our environment and workflows, making a lasting impact on our growth and success
In thisrole, youwill
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, using services like S3, CloudFormation, ElastiCache, ECS (EC2 & Fargate), RDS, and EKS.
- Automate deployments and workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipeline to drive efficiency.
- Optimize system performance and scalability, ensuring high availability using monitoring tools like DataDog.
- Build and deploy applications using .NET, .NET Core, Java, Python, or JavaScript, with tools like MSBuild, Ant, Maven, and Groovy.
- Improve containerized application deployments in ECS, EKS, AWS, and fine-tuning CI/CD strategies.
- Implement testing strategies to ensure stability and flawless releases in a continuous integration environment.
- Manage Nginx to optimize security and performance.
- Coordinate across diverse teams to improve DevOps workflows and cloud security standard processes.
Whatyou’llneed to succeed (requiredskills)
- A proven track record of 8 to 10 years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software development.
- Top-tier expertise in AWS cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:Java, C#, Python, JavaScript.
- Expert with SQL, Windows, and Linux servers in a cloud environment.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS Code Pipeline).
- Detailed understanding containerized applications and deployments in AWS ECS/EKS.
Whatwill help you stand out (preferredskills)
- Proficient with AWS CDK TypeScript or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
- Expert with NGINX as a reverse proxy server.
- AWS certification is an added bonus
