The Operations Coordinator provides operational support to NavieGo patient support programs and serves as the liaison between various teams and departments to oversee the successful operation of NavieGo systems. This role is also responsible to support NavieGo’s transformation by driving innovation through different projects and strategic initiatives.
The Operations Coordinator will be involved in the collection, validation, and analysis of information to support our programs and drive business decisions for resource allocation, technological investments, and process improvement. To accomplish this, they manage business expectations, persuades and/or negotiates on problems, clearly communicates, and actively collaborates with stakeholders. This position is also responsible to manage escalations appropriately, ensure thorough documentation of activities and processes, and assist with any other duties as required.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be of interest to individuals with a background and experience in business operations, customer service, patient support programs or project coordination. How you will make an impact
- Provide operational support to patient support programs through the implementation and execution of projects, efficiencies, and management of system upgrades.
- Demonstrate project management abilities by partnering with various areas of the organization to conceptualize, develop and successfully execute strategic and transformation initiatives to ensure the continued success of our patient programs.
- Manage content and access for all NavieGo systems including development and enhancement of program workflows. The Operations Coordinator will also be called upon to troubleshoot service interruptions, outages, and system performance issues.
- Support our programs in monitoring and tracking performance against external and internal KPIs. Identify gaps and process improvement opportunities to improve overall results.
- Operationalize the onboarding of new hires and terminate system access when required.
- Create, enhance, and maintain appropriate process documentation for all operational activities, including the development of company standard operating procedures.
- Show complete discretion when discussing patient information; adhere to strict standards regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent, and disclosure as required provincially, federally and by BioScript Policy.
What you’ll bring to our team
- 2 to 3 years of experience supporting various projects with experience in gathering business requirements.
- Exceptional ability to identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency.
- An aptitude for exceptional customer service with a focus on delivering beyond expectations.
- An interest in acquiring proficiency with reporting tools (PowerBI) and Microsoft Excel, and competent in developing reports, analyzing trends, and maintaining dashboards.
- Ease in learning and working with different systems and technology including CRMs, telephony systems, request management and different apps and tools.
- Proven ability to utilize critical thinking to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Exceptional ability to work on several projects simultaneously, and comfortable with changing priorities and responding to urgent requests.
- Compassionate approach and passion for patient advocacy.
- Demonstrable examples of self-motivation, resourcefulness, inquisitiveness and remaining calm in stressful situations. The ideal candidate is apt at dealing with ambiguous situations and can work effectively with minimal information and supervision.
