THE OPPORTUNITY:

Eco is seeking eager and passionate individuals to join our Student Plumber apprenticeship! If you are interested in growing into a top-tier Plumbing Technician and love helping people then this opportunity is for you!

Job Summary:

As a Plumbing Student, you will learn the trade and develop a skill for life. Assist in diagnosing, installing, and repairing plumbing systems in residential homes.

Responsibilities

• Follow our service system and educate the customer on products and services
• Meet and exceed essential performance requirements
• Learn to deliver quality workmanship on our products and services (possess the necessary tools to do the job)
• Support lead technician in maintaining a clean, organized job site and truck
• Assist in properly completing jobs, adhering to quality checklists, safety, and code requirements
• Establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services
• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver a knowledgeable service experience to win new referrals and repeat business
• Participate actively in all training, department, and company meetings
• Knowledgeable about company mission, policies, and guarantees
• Perform physical activity with no restrictions in various climate conditions

• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

• An individual contributor who also enjoys winning as a team

• Offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
• Must be able to speak English and audibly hear to communicate
• Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
• Must be able to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
