The Director of Supply Chain Planning is a key strategic leader responsible for optimizing Tosca’s end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product flow, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role drives data-informed decision-making to enhance demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination, ensuring Tosca’s products are delivered on time and in full to meet customer expectations.

Reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including planning, logistics, and operations, to develop predictive models, performance metrics, and strategic insights that drive continuous improvement. Success in this role means not only achieving operational goals but consistently surpassing them, ensuring precision, efficiency, and an unwavering focus on the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement demand planning and supply optimization strategies to ensure product availability meets customer demand.
  • Lead forecasting and inventory planning initiatives to minimize disruptions and enhance efficiency.
  • Leverage data analytics, predictive modeling, and performance metrics to improve supply chain operations.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Design and execute accurate forecasting models to align supply with customer demand.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, working capital, and transportation efficiency.
  • Work closely with logistics, operations, and commercial teams to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust supply strategies accordingly.

Supply Chain Efficiency & Cost Management

  • Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of products by optimizing inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Monitor and control costs, including freight and inventory holding costs, to drive financial efficiency.
  • Develop KPI dashboards to track key supply chain metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Planning Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Implement best practices in workforce planning, training, and process improvements to drive operational excellence.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and logistics teams to align planning with business objectives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
  • Partner with customer success teams to address demand fluctuations and improve service levels.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on supply chain planning and operational improvements.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and industry regulations, supporting Tosca’s Food Safety Management System.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Champion a culture of safety, efficiency, and customer-centric decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or logistics management in a fast-paced, customer-driven industry.
  • Strong expertise in forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning software, ERP systems, and advanced planning tools (SAP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, etc.).
  • Proven leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align supply chain planning with broader business goals.

Work Schedule

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
