Position: Customer Service Representative & Service Coordinator

Location: Richardson, TX

Salary: $55,000-$67,000


Schedule
: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Summary: Seeking someone who excels in customer service, providing a welcoming first impression for potential customers, efficiently scheduling estimates, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries and service requests while coordinating with sales reps, technicians, and installers.


Major Duties & Essential Functions


Customer Intake Representative Functions

  • Assist other team members in answering incoming phone calls & returning phone messages.

  • Assist other team members in following up on inquiries received via phone, web, or referral.

  • Provide an overview of the services, value, and benefits of engaging Energy Attic

  • Schedule estimates based on potential client & internal staff availability.

Outside Sales Dispatcher Functions

  • Customer Communication: Maintains ongoing communication with customers, providing updates, addressing concerns, and scheduling estimates and installation appointments to ensure a smooth sales process.

  • Communication and Coordination: Acts as a central point of contact, relaying updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers, technicians, and stakeholders.

  • Scheduling and Dispatching: Efficiently schedules and dispatches sales representatives for estimates and appointments, prioritizing work orders based on technician availability, location, and customer needs.

  • Documentation and Records: Accurately updates and organizes estimate records in Service Fusion, tracking sales progress, managing customer accounts, and ensuring documentation is readily accessible.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Basic Industry Knowledge: Some understanding of building science, attic insulation, or HVAC systems, including key components and functions.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with customers, sales reps, and installation crews.

  • Organized & Efficient: Skilled in managing multiple appointments and service calls while keeping everything on schedule.

  • Quick Problem Solver: Able to think on your feet, adjust schedules, and handle unexpected issues smoothly.

  • Customer-Focused: Patient, empathetic, and solution-oriented to ensure a great customer experience.

  • Calm Under Pressure: Stays composed and makes smart decisions, even in fast-paced or high-stress situations.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 5 years in experience in home services or HVAC environment

  • Adept at Microsoft Office software

  • Service Fusion experience (not required but is a bonus)
