Role: Digital Voice Solution EngineerLocation: Philadelphia, PA (On site)
Duration: 5 Months
Core Responsibilities
Design, develop and test Digital Voice features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender product.
Provide technical assistance to teams to troubleshoot Customer Voice issues.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases regression testing of Voice features
Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
Collaborate with developers and triage engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Contribute to the improvement of QE processes and best practices.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks is a plus.
Stay up to date with the latest Wi-Fi technologies and testing methodologies.
Work in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with IVR systems for automating interactions with callers
Deep understanding of VoIP technologies, Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP), QoS for prioritizing voice traffic and maintaining call quality
Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols & Experience with embedded systems development
Working experience of RDKB tech stack and Core networking concepts
Good knowledge with SOC and OEM layers and components like Docsis, HAL
Experience with Docsis3.1/4.0/FDX and Voice test automation framework and tools
Knowledge of OpenWrt or similar embedded Linux distributions
Experience with mesh networking technologies & understanding of IPv4/IPv6 networking.
Knowledge of network diagnostic tools and packet analyzers (Wireshark, tcpdump)
Understanding of CCSP (Common Component and Service Platform) architecture
Familiarity with Wi-Fi drivers, especially open-source drivers like hostapd
Understanding of network security protocols and WPA/WPA2/WPA3
Strong knowledge and Hands on experience with Linux operating systems & Yocto
