Job Description:


We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Development & Customer Success Coordinator to support our Commercial team. This role will be a key part of the Business Development (BD) and Customer Success (CS) teams, assisting with bid preparation, research, outreach efforts, and administrative tasks that help drive business growth and client retention.

Responsibilities

Market Research & Opportunity Identification

  • Assist in gathering intelligence on upcoming opportunities, procurement requirements, and competitor activity.

  • Monitor agency procurement sites and ensure WeDriveU is properly registered for bid opportunities.

  • Conduct research on potential clients and transit agencies to support business development efforts.

Proposal & Bid Support

  • Submit Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain historical procurement and bid details.

  • Assist with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) outreach, including identifying and documenting potential DBE subcontractors.

  • Perform Good Faith Efforts for DBE requirements in bids, such as placing ads and following up with potential partners.

  • Work with technology partners to request pricing and content for proposals.

Customer Success & Administrative Support

  • Help the Customer Success team with service analysis, presentations, and materials for quarterly business reviews.

  • Track capital expenditure requests and approvals for bid submissions.

  • Support day-to-day needs of the BD and CS teams, including ensuring job postings are live in coordination with HR.

  • Assist with coordinating meetings, scheduling travel for team members, and organizing logistics for conventions and industry events.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, transportation, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in transportation, government contracting, or proposal management.

Technical & Research Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with AI-based research and writing tools for data collection and proposal support.

  • Experience with CRM tools or bid-tracking platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.

  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and present findings clearly to senior management.

Other Considerations:

  • Some travel may be required for industry events, conferences, or occasional client site visits.
