Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of software applications. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our infrastructure and improve system reliability.
Duties
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools to streamline software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as OpenStack.
- Implement configuration management tools like Puppet for efficient system administration.
- Develop scripts for automation using Shell Scripting, Ruby on Rails, or Perl.
- Maintain version control using GitHub, ensuring code integrity and collaboration.
- Work with databases such as MySQL to optimize data storage solutions.
- Utilize Elasticsearch for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Ensure security best practices are followed across all systems.
Skills
- Proficiency in cloud computing technologies and services.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of automation tools like Puppet or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Ability to write efficient scripts in Shell Scripting, Ruby on Rails, or Perl.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
- Knowledge of database management systems, especially MySQL.
- Understanding of search engine technologies like Elasticsearch.

Pay: $120,000.00-$160,000.00 per year
