Job Description

We are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative based out of Hawkesbury ON location, the key responsibility for this role is expanding the Company’s customer portfolio for Petroleum Products, Lubricants, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This role focuses on business development, emphasizing the acquisition of new customers while maintaining strong relationships with the Company’s existing clients in the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec region, including Vankleek Hill, Alexandria, Hawkesbury, and Montreal.

This is a permanent full-time position direct hire with the company. Not through an agency.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Sales Representative

  • Drive customer acquisition for products within the assigned territory using value-based selling techniques.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential opportunities and engage key customer stakeholders.
  • Assess customer needs and market dynamics to create customized, value-driven proposals that ensure optimal service, product delivery, and pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, acting as their primary point of contact in the territory.
  • Foster business relationships with suppliers, contractors, dealers, and other referral sources.
  • Demonstrate a professional and customer-focused attitude by leading by example within the community.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge to serve as a trusted advisor and technical resource for customers and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate installations and service work.
  • Monitor account profitability and secure appropriate documentation for equipment and supply agreements, ensuring a positive ROI.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales pipeline activities.
  • Working closely with the Division Manager, Customer Service Reps, and Drivers.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related sales role.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Experience in B2B sales of Petroleum, Lubricants, or Industrial products is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, thriving in an independent work environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and French are a must.

Compensation Package:

  • $70-$75K to start base salary, plus Commission and Bonus with the potential earnings of $100K plus.
  • 3 weeks vacation to start.

This is a full-time permanent position, the shift is Monday to Friday (5 days per week)

Hybrid role, mainly on the road, and working from home, occasionally going to the Hawkesbury office. The expectation would be 80% time on the road.
