About the Project:
We are seeking a Sustainable Manager to lead sustainable construction efforts for an exciting park development project in Brooklyn and the Bronx. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about sustainability, LEED principles, and circular economy strategies to make a meaningful impact on urban green spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee sustainable construction processes, ensuring alignment with circular economy principles and LEED certification standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for material reuse, waste reduction, and sustainable sourcing.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate circular economy best practices into project design and execution.
- Monitor environmental impact and compliance with sustainability regulations.
- Lead initiatives for recycling, deconstruction, and repurposing materials throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report on sustainability performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainable construction, circular economy implementation, or LEED-certified projects.
- LEED Accreditation (LEED AP, LEED Green Associate) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sustainable building materials, waste management, and energy-efficient construction methods.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Passion for sustainability and experience working on green infrastructure or park projects preferred.
