Account Planner

Job Description:

Lumens is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Sale Support Representative (Account Planner) to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our customers receive accurate and competitive price estimates tailored to their unique project needs. You will work closely with a variety of clients, including electrical suppliers, purchasing agents, and wholesale distributors, to provide expert guidance on product selection and pricing.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for decorative lighting and an ability to build strong customer relationships. Your work will directly impact our clients’ projects, helping them bring their lighting visions to life with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to assess project requirements and recommend appropriate decorative lighting products and materials.
• Generate accurate, competitive price quotes based on detailed project specifications.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, fostering repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., project managers, account managers) to ensure seamless project execution from quote to delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm product specifications, pricing, and availability to provide customers with up-to-date information.
• Create and maintain special-order items in the CRM system for efficient tracking and management.
• Stay informed on the latest product innovations and emerging technologies in decorative lighting.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries or issues related to quotes and orders promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Strong knowledge of decorative lighting components and systems, with experience in the electrical supply industry being a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and ERP systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Key Traits: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. A collaborative mindset with a customer-first approach.

Compensation: $60k OTE ($19/hr + $20k commission)
