ASRC Federal / Broadleaf is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) position supporting our Army Analytics Group (AAG) located in Fairfield CA. This is a Remote position.
- Cloud Infrastructure Design and Deployment:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage virtual networks, storage, and virtual machines.
- Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure system availability, performance, and security.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards.
- Manage access controls and identity management within Azure.
- Automation and Optimization:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development teams to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members on cloud best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance and usage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Clearance Level:
- Active Secret Security Clearance (preferred) OR eligibility to obtain and hold a secret clearance.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
