TripSpark's people transportation technology provides transit agencies and private operators in the USA and Canada with the critical operational software and in-vehicle technology they need to run efficiently and provide outstanding service to their riders. Our products form an integrated ecosystem, including routing and scheduling, plus the modern passenger information apps and systems that passengers rely on. We are looking for a B2B Inside Account Manager who can build relationships and value with our customers and our Equipment Manufactures by analyzing their needs and providing our technology solutions. Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively manage and nurture a designated portfolio of existing customer accounts to maintain strong relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute account-specific strategies to expand product and service penetration within existing accounts
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs, challenges, and growth potential
  • Monitor account health and implement retention strategies to minimize customer churn
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Generate detailed quotes and proposals for customers and based on their specific requirements
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through systematic account development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Original Equipment Manufacturer relationships
  • Maintain regular communication with OEM partners to strengthen partnerships and identify collaborative opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of OEM-related projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand new offerings and identify suitable opportunities within accounts
  • Create and process work orders with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information in Salesforce CRM
  • Develop and maintain a structured time management system to effectively balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to accurately forecast and manage the sales funnel for assigned account territory
  • Additional tasks as need and requested (i.e. gathering FOIA data, process improvement, sales support)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 1+ farmer sales and/or business development experience
  • High-energy salesperson with experience in a software-related business
  • Experience in proactively and accurately building a pipeline
  • Previous success in meeting and exceeding targets
  • Some training and experience in product selling and/or value-based selling preferred
  • Quick learner, positive attitude, self-motivated, organized and innovative
  • Some formal presentation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through capabilities
  • Ability to cover a diverse territory in a virtual environment, however, travel upwards of 15% of the time is required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must hold a valid passport
