Job Description
As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll make an impact by crafting, building, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments that support critical business operations. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and networking will improve performance, security, and integration. You will be a valued member of our Platform Architecture and Services practice and work collaboratively with our Senior Technology Architect to help craft the future of our EPS environment in our retail services domain.
In thisrole, youwill
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Implement networking, storage, virtualization, and access control in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC and scripting.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or TeamCity.
- Deploy resilient cloud architectures for business-critical applications.
- Optimize cloud performance, integration, and security with existing systems.
Whatyou’llneed to succeed (requiredskills)
- Proven track record of 4+ years with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
- 3+ years of scripting or coding experience.
- Outstanding proficiency in Azure networking, hybrid cloud environments, and security standard methodologies
- Expert with CI/CD tools like TeamCity or Azure DevOps.
Whatwill help you stand out (preferredskills)
- Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, or serverless computing.
- Detailed understanding of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor or Splunk.
- Cloud certifications like Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are an added bonus.
- Background in retail or e-commerce industry.

Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a Client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS.
