Position Overview :
We are looking for a dynamic and detail oriented Inside Sales / Technical Sales Support Representative to join our team in Burlington. This role combines technical expertise with sales support to ensure exceptional service and seamless customer experiences. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, manage sales inquiries, and support the sales team in delivering tailored power solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Support :
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming customer inquiries and provide accurate, timely responses.
- Prepare and process quotations, proposals, and orders based on customer specifications.
- Assist the Outside Sales team with technical product information, pricing, sourcing and documentation.
- Monitor and follow up on leads to nurture relationships and convert them into sales opportunities.
Technical Support :
- Understand and communicate the features, specifications, and applications of Toshont’s product offerings.
- Work with customers to identify their technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer needs to provide accurate recommendations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to address technical challenges and ensure proper order fulfillment.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent service.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions using the company’s CRM system.
Administrative & Team Collaboration :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and documentation.
- Support inventory management by coordinating with the operations team to ensure product availability.
- Contribute to team projects and initiatives to improve sales and support processes.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and product advancements to provide strategic input.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, technical sales support, or a similar role, preferably in the electrical or power products industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
