About the Role:
As a Sales Consultant at Phil Dill Boats (PDB), your main objective will be to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for understanding the needs and preferences of our customers, assisting them in finding the perfect boat or watercraft, and guiding them through the sales process. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships with our clients. This role is crucial in contributing to the success and growth of our business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of boats and watercraft
- Experience in the marine industry
- Familiarity with financing options for boat purchases
- Previous experience in a consultative sales role
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their boating needs and preferences
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the selection of boats and watercraft
- Assist customers in the sales process, including negotiation and closing deals
- Coordinate with the finance and administrative teams to ensure smooth transactions
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns
Skills:
In this role, your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in understanding and addressing the needs of our customers. Your ability to effectively negotiate and close deals will contribute to the success of the sales team. Attention to detail and organizational skills will help you manage the sales process efficiently. Knowledge of boats and watercraft, as well as the marine industry, will enable you to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
