Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for the food packaging industry? We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team and help drive sales growth in the food services, supermarket, and food processor packaging sectors. I

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and a proactive approach to new and existing client relationships.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including distributors, supermarkets, food service chains, and food processors.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, close deals, and manage distribution channels to meet volume and financial targets.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate on the development of sales and marketing strategies, including pricing and trade spend, based on market insights.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and communicate its value to clients.
- Innovation: Drive new product development initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
- Networking: Leverage your growing network to prospect and qualify potential new clients.
- Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and analyze sales reports to optimize strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Post-secondary education (Business degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of proven sales experience in the foodservice or food packaging industries.
- Industry Network: Strong relationships with key players in packaging, supermarket, foodservice, and food processing sectors.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate, close deals, and drive revenue growth.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regionally/nationally for client visits, sales events, and trade shows.
