The opportunity

We are currently looking for a BilingualSales Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing company. Working as an integral part of our team, he or she will focus on generating new business in the North America market and serving clients in the vibrant energy sector. The Sales Account Manager takes a key role in planning and implementing commercial goals in selling and promoting high-quality transformers to new and existing customers across North America.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Organize, build and manage new customer relationships established through direct sales.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize sales revenue..
  • Client retention through continued dedication for customer service & support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • College or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years proven sales experience in the electrical equipment sector, ideally experience in transformers sales.
  • English and Mandarin speaking will be required.
  • Ability to travel throughout US and Canada for face-to-face client visits and trade shows.
  • Excellent account management skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and developing sales strategies.
  • Understanding of power distribution and energy industry trends will be a strong asset.
  • Comparable record of sales leadership experience will be a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High levels of self-motivation and desire for self-improvement.
