Reports to: CEO/President, Cesar's Concrete
Position Summary: We are looking for a hungry and driven professional to join our sales team. You will be in charge of building relationships with inbound leads, converting those leads into profitable jobs, and working with the scheduling department to make sure all of the customer wants are communicated and executed. We are a seasonal business and in slower seasons, you may have a mix of inbound sales and outbound sales to build up relationships with referral partners in our industry. You will work in conjunction with company leadership to ensure the sales process is congruent with the way that the company has done business in the past.
Responsibilities:
- Use a consultative sales approach focused on the customer's needs and wants to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Perform a mix of phone consultations and in person estimates
- Participate in sales training weekly to hone sales skills
- Present the solutions of our residential concrete and how they may help the customer
- Skilled in creating proposals, negotiations, and closing
- Manage pipeline of leads supplied by Cesar's Concrete.
- Must be willing to do outbound sales during concrete offseason which is December- March when concrete inquires slow down
Success Criteria:
- Hit quotas while keeping pricing high
- An increase in sales over time
- An increase in customer satisfaction from being heard and presented with solutions to their problems
- Meting company goals and quotas
- Acquire customer feedback and testimonials/case studies
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in a sales or commutations role
- Has 2+ years of sales and customer service experience
- Understands the value of consultative selling
- Is detailed oriented and organized
- Is an excellent communicator -- written, verbal, visual
- Has interview skills and is a curious and thoughtful listener
- Understands how to use emotion based selling, to increase the dollar value of sales
- Operates well with giving and receiving feedback
- Has a team mentality
- Local hire preferred, but not required
Nice-to-have, but not required:
- Experienced CRM user, proficient in sales automation
- Previous experience with construction sales
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
Salary: Starting at $40,000 + commissions. Average sales representative makes $100,000+
- Commission offered and bonus pay
- Key metrics used to determine additional compensation
