We are expanding our wholesales business into retailers and foodservice. We want to find the right person that is self-motivated and can help us drive our growth plans. We are even going to add a commission structure paid monthly as additional incentive compensation.
Currently, we ship to major retailers like Hannaford, Wal-Mart, BJ's and independent stores like Chanatry's. We can expand this business but have a great opportunity to build new sales with a new product launch. In October we plan to start selling Halfmoon Singles. We will pack our Vanilla and Chocolate Halfmoon Cookies in a really cool white boxes with a professionally photographed delicious-looking Cookie on the front with emphasis on our rich buttercream frosting. Each cookie will be sealed in plastic and included in the box will be a single handwipe to ensure the delicious frosting is never a problem! We are also close to offering a Smart Snack version that meets K-12 school nutritional requirements.
There is one more piece to the puzzle, our sister company, www.artisanalcheese.com offers a unique program for premium foodservice at major universities, large corporations and hotels of amazing artisan cheeses, cured meats and hand-kneaded rolls and breads shipped together to create impressive dining solutions for special events.
This role will first require assistance servicing existing accounts and ensuring we continue our base business selling Hemstrought's Halfmoon Cookies to retailers, while helping us prospect for new accounts for the Singles, the School's Cookie and Artisanal. People love our products so the prospecting for new business is fun.
For the right person the types of accounts we can pursue are endless. Even hotels, pizzerias and non-food retailers like Home Depot that sell snack foods near the registers are now potential accounts for Halfmoon Singles. All our retail customers should have them by the cash registers as well.
Commissions are not capped. The more you do the greater rewards to you. We are planning to modernize our current building but by this week we will have upgraded our offices to make them more professional and a nice place to work.
This position will involve making out-bound calls to our retail customers generally in the beginning part of the day to service them and then prospecting for new busienss with our Director of Sales and CEO. We have so many good people working for us now and want to add.
You can grow as far as you would like in this role and beyond. You will be on the front lines of the business engaging with customer and our operations teams to make the business work.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of direct hands-on experience in customer service
- Experience in inside sales is very important
- Understanding business and sales cycles and documentation is required
Educational Requirements:
- A college degree is preferred, but experience is foremost
